Last week in the Intercommunity League, Sandra Confer fired a 761 series on the strength of a 290 third game to secure female high series and high game honors for the week. That same league saw DeWayne Harris capture high male series honors for the week with a 783.
In the Sunday Funday League, Matt Stahl rolled the first 300 game of his career, while the Monday Night Classic League saw Markus Budda and Jim King III match Stahl's perfect game. Close behind Confer was Alicia Edkin who tossed a 742 in the Intercommunity after reaching 702 the night before in the Monday Night Classic, the second week this season that Edkin has posted multiple 700 series.
Also in the Intercommunity, Beth Morgan rolled a 707 series producing her second 700 of the season.

And now for the most notable finishes by local bowlers in last spring's Pensnylvania State Open Tournament: John Heck Jr. finished in ninth place in the scratch singles event with a 2,222, as well as finishing in 15th in the scratch doubles with his sweetheart/partner Amanda Heck with a score of 1,455. Jeff Morgan and Mike Klees finished in 182nd place out of 1,973 entries in the handicap doubles event, while Chad Marshall finished in 200th place out of 3,584 entries in handicap singles.
