After a tough three-goal loss on Thursday, Loyalsock responded by beating South Williamsport at home 5-0 to move to 5-3.
The Lancers took control early and led 3-0 at halftime before scoring twice in the final 40 minutes. Luke Edmonds and Justus Miller both scored twice, while Trenton Miller added a goal to round out the scoring. Caleb Hartstock and Owen Peck had assists.
Loyalsock controlled for much of the possession throughout the match and consistently won 50/50 balls and created opportunities in the attacking third. The Lancers were equally strong defensively, limiting South Williamsport to just one shot on goal.
Kason Burrows recorded the shutout in goal with one save as Loyalsock's defense kept South off the scoreboard.
It was a strong response from the Lancers following their loss to Warrior Run and a complete team performance on both sides of the ball.
The Lancers host Midd-West on Saturday morning at 11 a.m.
