In a close girls tennis matchup between nearby rivals, Montgomery earned a hard-fought 3-2 win against South Williamsport.
The Red Raiders used a sweep of doubles action to secure the win. Leane Fouqet and Laine Solano won at No. 1 doubles for Montgomery by beating Peyton Coolidge and Carly Loudenslager, 7-5, 6-4.
Sophie Snyder and Maddie Hamm earned a 6-2, 6-7 (3), 6-2 three-set win against Caroline Melvin and Annabelle Fry.
South Williamsport's Mylee Morrison and Ava Foote earned singles victories. At No. 1 singles, Morrison beat Montgomery's Arrianna Snyder, 6-1, 6-0 and at No. 3 singles, Foote secured a three-set in over Avelyn Moore. Foote won that contest, 6-3, 6-7 (5), 6-4.
