CM duo finishes as runner-up in District 6 doubles

ALTOONA – After advancing to the District 6 Class AA doubles final on Monday afternoon, Central Mountain's Lucy and Lane Walker saw their run at a title fall one win short on Wednesday. The duo picked up multiple wins in each set, but Westmont Hilltop's Lilly Evans and Isabella Parrish came out on top each time, defeating the Wildcat pairing by a score of 6-3, 6-3.

Nonetheless, the duo's silver medal adds to what's been a successful postseason for Central Mountain. Lucy Walker claimed silver in the previous week's District 6 singles tournament, only being beat out by teammate Addison Lindsay, and the Wildcats have plenty of momentum heading into next week's team tournament.
