Central Mountain senior Nolan Karstetter wrapped up his high school golf career Tuesday at Sinking Valley Golf Course, competing in the District 6 Golf Championships.
With only the top two golfers advancing to the PIAA State Championships, Karstetter finished the day in ninth place with a score of 83, finishing 11-over par. State College's Luke McGraw captured the district championship.
Although Nolan fell short of advancing to the state tournament, his ninth-place finish capped off a successful high school golf career. Throughout his time as a Wildcat, Karstetter consistently competed at a high level while providing leadership both on and off the course.
Nolan's contributions to Central Mountain athletics extend beyond golf, as he is also a leader on the Wildcats baseball team. With the golf season now complete, Nolan will turn his attention toward the spring and another opportunity to compete on the baseball diamond.
Central Mountain golf would like to congratulate Nolan on an outstanding high school golf career and thank him for his dedication, leadership, and commitment to the program. The Wildcats look forward to seeing what he accomplishes next, both on the baseball field and beyond.
