1. Williamsport (5-1): Trey Damschroder became the sixth Millionaire to reach 100 career catches last Friday at Jersey Shore. The senior has 102 catches, ranking 21st among area receivers during the 2000s. He is just one of 25 players to reach the century mark.

2. Montgomery (5-1): Lincoln Miller became the third current Montgomery running back to reach 1,000 career yards a week ago against Wyalusing. Despite not having a carry as a freshman, Miller has 1,043 career yards, joining teammates Trace Furman and Josh Knoebel. All three have more than 360 yards this year.

3. Montoursville (4-2): Freshman Bryson Fillman became the fifth Montoursville receiver to catch a touchdown last week. Quarterback Elijah Eck has spread the ball around, hitting five or more receivers in all six games this season.

4. South Williamsport (4-2): A win tonight would ensure South of finishing the regular season .500 or better in each of the past 15 seasons. A 15th straight playoff spot is all but a lock as well, highlighting how well recent West Branch Valley Sports Hall of Fame selection, coach Chris Eiswerth and his staff have done elevating the program.

5. Jersey Shore (4-2): Jersey Shore plays at Dubois for the first time since the 2013 Class AAA state tournament when it faced District 9 champion Clearfield. That capped an amazing turnaround season in which Jersey Shore went from winless to district champions and launched a district dynasty.

6. Lewisburg (3-3): Jaylen Walker's tremendous all-around performance at Loyalsock earned him some impressive milestones and put him in some elite fraternities. Walker reached 100 career catches and 2,000 career yards, becoming the area's ninth player in the 21st century to reach the 2,000-yard mark. Walker has 108 catches for 2,069 yards and 28 touchdowns. He is 16th in catches, eighth in yards and fifth in touchdowns, while moving within 10 catches and five yards of tying career program catch and yardage records.

7. Loyalsock (3-3): Dyson Dupont has joined Connor Watkins as the only freshmen in program history to reach 1,000 yards passing. He also ranks second among District 4 passers with 16 touchdowns.

8. Warrior Run (3-3): Warrior Run won a share of the CSC-II conference championship 16 days to this date 21 years ago when Justin Brouse caught the game-winning touchdown pass in a 35-28 comeback victory against Loyalsock. It was one of the most exciting games this reporter has covered as the Defenders took their first lead of the game on that play. Brouse finished a program record 16 catches for 199 yards and two touchdowns.

9. Muncy (3-3): Muncy and Canton are playing for the first time in two years, but sure have quite a history between them. These two played in five straight District 4 Class A championships from 2018-22; Muncy winning the first three and Canton the final two. Canton made Final 4 runs in 2021-22 and Muncy did the same after downing the Warriors in the 2024 district semifinals.

10. Canton (4-2): Speaking of that playoff rivalry, it often was road-field advantage. Muncy won those three straight district titles at Canton and the Warriors repeated in 2022 on Muncy's field.

11. Milton (2-4): Luis Santos, Kamryn Wilson, Paxton Humphrey, Ja'Cori Brown, Brady O'Rourke and Jhemzuel Feliciano all had big games last Friday. You know what really excites Milton about that? All those players are underclassmen.

12. Hughesville (2-4): A good indicator of how Hughesville has been playing the past two years is Chase Shrawder's rushing total each week. Specifically, it pertains to the No. 50. When Shrawder rushes for at least 50 yards, the Spartans are 7-0.

13. Cowanesque Valley (2-4): Apologies to 2020 graduate Seth Huyler. A week ago, I stated Dave Hess became the program's first player to reach 4,000 career total yards in the 2000s, but Huyler actually was the first. The versatile quarterback totaled 5,288 yards and his 3,964 passing yards are the most by a CV quarterback in the 2000s.

14. Central Mountain (0-6): If what Central Mountain showed at Shikellamy is the team it will be moving forward, it certainly has upset potential down the stretch, especially if it builds upon that performance.

15. Wellsboro (1-5): The Hornets played some Thursday Night Football last night, hosting Towanda. Reed Richardson is having a strong year at linebacker and ran well a week ago against Troy, gaining 81 yards on nine carries.

16. North Penn-Mansfield (0-6): North Penn-Mansfield showed some nice resolve after a rough first quarter against Troy a week ago. Between that and the experience so many underclassmen are gaining, a quality foundation is being built.

17. Bucktail (0-5): Halfway through his junior season, Teagan Stone has become the fifth Bucktail player in the 2000s to reach 50 career catches. Stone also is closing in on 1,000 yards and has both 100-yard receiving and rushing games on his resume.

Starting at /week.
