Did You Know?
The current Faxon Lanes was not the first Faxon Lanes in the local area. The original 16-lane Faxon establishment was built in 1959 on the south side of East Third Street just west of where Third Street and Washington Blvd meet. That house burned to the ground on January 21, 1967.
Managing part owner Bill Walsh vowed to rebuild and by the end of that year, the current Faxon Lanes sprang to life on River Avenue. With 24 lanes, the new Faxon Lanes became and still remains the largest bowling establishment in the Lycoming County area.
Hope to see you on the lanes.
