Williamsport graduate Joe Fagnano will get his first start in the regular season on Thursday in Week 9

The former Millionaire was named the Ravens' starting quarterback for the Thursday Night Game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, coach Jesse Minter announced on Tuesday afternoon.

He becomes the second undrafted rookie QB in Ravens history to start a game, joining Anthony Brown (2022). Fagnano got the call to start after Lamar Jackson hurt his thumb one snap into Sunday's game this past week against the Buffalo Bills and Tyler Huntley then suffering a toe injury.

Fagnano got time against the Bills on Sunday, going 10 for 21 for 91 yards and an interception in the loss.

"To Joe's credit, he's kind of fighting through a couple things he's dealing with," Minter told ESPN after Monday's walk-through practice. "But expect him to have a chance to play on Thursday."

He was initially listed as a limited participant on Monday at the walk-through practice before Minter said he'd start on Tuesday.
