LOCK HAVEN – Abby Robertson hit a walk off home run to lead the Lock Haven softball team to a 3-1 victory in game one over Bloomsburg in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East doubleheader on Friday afternoon at Lawrence Field. Bloomsburg edged Lock Haven 1-0 in game two. Friday’s doubleheader was also the program’s Military Appreciation Day. MANSFIELD - The Mountaineer softball team (6-30, 3-25 PSAC East) hosted Shippensburg University, in a conference match up against the Raiders (30-14, 17-9 PSAC East) on Friday afternoon, with Mansfield dropping both. Lycoming golf picked to finish 10th in Landmark Pre-Championship Poll

The Lycoming College golf team was selected to finish 10th in the Landmark Conference Pre-Championship Coaches’ Poll, the conference office announced on Friday. Drew was the unanimous favorite to repeat as conference champion with 81 points and nine first-place votes while Scranton (68), Goucher (65), Moravian (55) and Catholic (46) make up the top half of the poll. Susquehanna (45), Juniata (34), Elizabethtown (30), Wilkes (14) and Lycoming (12) round out the poll. On Friday afternoon, the Jersey Shore boys tennis team kept rolling. The Bulldogs dropped just four games combined to sweep Muncy in convincing fashion, 5-0, and pick up its 16th win in a row.
