Cutters shut out Scrappers in series opener at Mahoning Valley
EASTWOOD — After struggling to find offense early in the season, the Williamsport Crosscutters erupted for nine runs on ten hits as they shut out Mahoning Valley in the series opener on Tuesday night at Eastwood. Montoursville native and UConn product Maddix Dalena led the offense by going 2 for 2 with his second home run of the season, a 373-foot two-run blast, and had two walks.
