Lycoming County 37 new COVID-19 cases, 5,551 additional positive cases statewide

HARRISBURG-The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., November 14, that there were 5,551 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 259,938. This is the highest daily increase of cases.

The number of tests administered within the last 7 days between November 7 and November 13 is 366,928 with 30,437 positive cases. There were 52,408 test results reported to the department through 10 p.m., November 13.

As of 11:59 p.m., Friday, November 13, there were 50 new deaths reported for a total of 9,274 deaths attributed to COVID-19.

The percentage of recovered cases today is 70 percent. Individuals who have recovered is determined using a calculation, similar to what is being done by several other states. If a case has not been reported as a death, and it is more than 30 days past the date of their first positive test (or onset of symptoms) then an individual is considered recovered.

Lycoming County has had 1300 positive cases to date, (1199 confirmed and 101 probable), 37 new today; Clinton 391 (337 confirmed and 54 probable) 14 new today; Sullivan 32 cases (27 confirmed and 5 probable) 1 new today and Tioga 485 cases, (436 confirmed and 49 probable) 19 new today.

Lycoming County has 18 hospitalized COVID-19 patients, 1 is on a ventilator; Montour County 48 patients with 7 on ventilators.
