Lycoming County 39 new COVID-19 cases
Northumberland County sees 33 new cases, Clinton 11, Tioga 10,
Harrisburg – The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed as January 25, there were 3,976 additional positive cases of COVID-19, in addition to 3,934 new cases reported Sunday, January 24 for a two-day total of 7,910, bringing the statewide total to 807,867.
There are 3,910 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19. Of that number, 790 patients are in the intensive care unit with COVID-19. Most of the patients hospitalized are ages 65 or older, and most of the deaths have occurred in patients 65 or older. More data is available here.
The trend in the 14-day moving average number of hospitalized patients per day has increased by nearly 4,200 since the end of September.
Statewide percent positivity for the week of January 15 – January 21 stood at 10.5%.
Lycoming County has had 7,799 COVID-19 cases (6,842 confirmed, 957 probable) 39 new today. Sullivan 257 (217 confirmed, 40 probable) 0 new today, Tioga 2,219 (2,014 confirmed, 205 probable) 10 new today and Clinton 2,437 ( 2,223 confirmed, 214 probable) 11 new today, Northumberland 6,498 (5,869 confirmed, 629 probable) 33 new today.
Lycoming has 31 COVID-19 patients hospitalized, 3 in the ICU, 0 on ventilators and 3 available ICU beds. Tioga County has 8 COVID-19 patients hospitalized, 3 in the ICU, 2 on ventilators and 1 available ICU bed. Clinton County has 1 hospitalized COVID-19 patients, Northumberland has 8 hospitalized COVID-19 patients, 1 in the ICU, none on ventilators and 5 available ICU beds.
