Lycoming County 69 new COVID-19 cases
Northumberland County sees 55 new cases, Clinton 16, Tioga 10, Sullivan 3
HARRIBURG – The Pennsylvania Department of Health today, January 20, there were 5,984 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 783,170.
There are 4,593 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19. Of that number, 918 patients are in the intensive care unit with COVID-19. Most of the patients hospitalized are ages 65 or older, and most of the deaths have occurred in patients 65 or older. More data is available here.
The trend in the 14-day moving average number of hospitalized patients per day has increased by nearly 4,600 since the end of September.
Statewide percent positivity for the week of January 8 – January 14 stood at 12.7%.
Lycoming County has had 7,533 COVID-19 cases (6,612 confirmed, 921 probable) 69 new today. Sullivan 226 (188 confirmed, 38 probable) 3 new today, Tioga 2,170 (1,978 confirmed, 197 probable) 10 new today and Clinton 2,392 (2,179 confirmed, 213 probable) 16 new today, Northumberland 6,279 (5,694 confirmed, 585 probable) 55 new today.
Lycoming has 45 COVID-19 patients hospitalized, 5 in the ICU, 1 on a ventilator and 6 available ICU beds. Tioga County has 4 COVID-19 patients hospitalized, 0 in the ICU, 0 on a ventilators and 1 available ICU beds. Clinton County has 7 hospitalized COVID-19 patients, Northumberland has 9 hospitalized COVID-19 patients, 1 in the ICU, none on ventilators and 2 available ICU beds.
