Lycoming County 53 new COVID-19 cases

HARRISBURG- The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., April 13, there were 6,638 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 1,082,062.

There were 66 new deaths identified by the Pennsylvania death registry, reported for a total of 25,472 deaths attributed to COVID-19

Lycoming County has had 10,736 cases to date (9,069 confirmed, 1,667 probable) 53 new today; Clinton County 3,287 (2,951 confirmed, 336 probable) 24 new today; Tioga County 2,735 cases (2,341 confirmed, 394 probable) 5 new today; Sullivan County 364 (293 confirmed, 71 probable) 0 new today and Northumberland 8,855 (7,578 confirmed, 1,277 probable) 39 new today.

Lycoming County has 24 COVID-19 patients hospitalized, 9 in the ICU and 2 on a ventilator and 3 available adult ICU beds. Clinton County has two COVID-19 patient, Tioga County has 4 COVID-19 patients, 3 in the ICU and 1 on a ventilator and 3 available ICU bed and Northumberland County has 4 hospitalized COVID-19 patients, 3 in the ICU and 0 on a ventilator and 1 available ICU beds.

COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution

Pennsylvania hospitals began receiving shipments of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine the week of Dec. 14 and Moderna COVID-19 vaccine the week of Dec. 21. The Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) COVID-19 vaccine was first allocated to Pennsylvania the week of March 1, and the commonwealth is using it for a special initiative involving K-12 and early education educators and support staff. Vaccination numbers for Pennsylvania do not include Philadelphia, which is its own jurisdiction, or federal facilities, which are working directly with the federal government.

According to the CDC, as of Tuesday morning, April 13, Pennsylvania has administered first doses of vaccine to 39.5% of its eligible population, and the state ranks 11th among all 50 states for first doses administered by percentage of population.

Vaccine providers have administered 6,503,362 total vaccine doses as of Tuesday, April 13.

2,448,072 people are fully vaccinated; with a seven-day moving average of more than 90,800 people per day receiving vaccinations.

1,842,483 people are partially vaccinated, meaning they have received one dose of a two-dose vaccine.

4,290,555 people have received at least their first dose.

This week, a total of 7,180,370 doses will have been allocated through April 17:

296,620 first/single doses will have been allocated this week.

303,110 second doses will have been allocated this week.
