ANTES FORT- Route 44 south of Jersey Shore has reopened after being shut down due to a fatal one-vehicle crash according to emergency responders at the scene.

The Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police confirmed one person dead, the drive, an adult male from Jersey Shore area.

The crash occurred about 11:40 a.m. Tuesday.

Firefighters from Nippenose Valley, Antes Fort, along with paramedics from Jersey Shore are at the scene. There were reports that an occupant in the vehicle was trapped.

The investigation is being led by the Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police.
