Minutes after the ambulance took off to the hospital, a woman arrived in a car – very distraught and talking on a cellphone.
Besides city police, officers from the Pennsylvania College of Technology and Old Lycoming Township also responded to the scene.
Several yellow markers were placed in the street to show casings or other evidence related to the shooting. The intersection was closed off to traffic.
The Williamsport Bureau of Police said in a news release, ” Despite the lack of cooperation from the large number of persons who were present at the scene, officers will continue every effort to successfully solve this investigation. Units from the Pennsylvania State Police Forensic Services Unit assisted with helping WBP Investigators process the crime scene.”
