Michelle and Ronald Butler are entering pleas to charges stemming from their roles in the deaths of two children, according to WNEP.com.
Michelle Butler is pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter, abuse of a corpse and child endangerment while Ronald Butler is entering a no-contest plea to child endangerment, WNEP reports.
The Butlers' daughter Echo Butler and her girlfriend Marie Snyder – the mother of the two girls who were killed – were previously convicted in Lycoming County court and are serving life sentences.
Authorities say the 4-year-old and 6-year-old were starved and physically abused by Snyder and Echo Butler, while Echo's parents failed to intervene.
