TRAFFIC ALERT – Motorists use caution Friday when traveling the Route 15 South spur in the city as the highway remained down to one lane. An extensive clean-up operation continued into much of the day following Thursday night’s crash. A tractor-trailer truck, loaded with boxes of dog biscuits, crashed through a guardrail and broke apart as it plunged 30 feet down an embankment, injuring the driver and a passenger about 6:10 p.m., according to Williamsport police. An estimated 60 yards of guardrail was destroyed.
