At Angela Marie Dimarco’s preliminary hearing on drug charges this week before District Judge Christian Frey, city police amended the complaint and added a felony charge of receiving stolen property, according to court records. Originally, Dimarco, 37, was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and related offenses after city police seized powder cocaine as well as crack cocaine and heroin from her Newberry home at 2318 Linn St. while executing two search warrants at the property on Jan. 22. Officers also took possession of four handguns, including one that turned out to be stolen in a burglary in the city back in August, 2023, police said. Initially jailed, Dimarco has since been released on $100,000.
