Julye Ann Koch, 29, of 126 Fisher Road, Cogan Station, has been charged with stealing her mother’s 2019 Kia Optima from the Hepburn Township home they share on July 10, according to Lycoming Regional police.

Police recovered the car the next day in Muncy Township and took Koch into custody on felony charges of theft and receiving stolen property plus one misdemeanor offense of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Koch, who is on county probation for theft and drug offenses, was arraigned before District Judge William Solomon and remains jailed in lieu of $15,000 bail. She has since waived her preliminary hearing.
