Justin Kordack, 42, and his wife, Mindy Kordack, 32, both of Columbus, Ohio, have been locked up on charges of felony receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after failing to return a 15-foot U-Haul box truck to Stoughton, Massachusetts, when the rental agreement had expired, state police alleged in an affidavit.

The couple was taken into custody and the truck was seized Wednesday night at the Quality Inn and Suites, 1840 E. Third St., police said. The court document did not state when the rental agreement expired, but only that Stoughton police had reported the truck stolen. Kordack faced an additional summary offense of obstruction of justice for refusing to identify himself to law enforcement, police said.

Following their arraignment hours later before District Judge William Solomon, the couple were committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail each.
