Unityville man critically injured in ATV crash

UNITYVILLE – Justin Stackhouse, 32, of Unityville, was flown to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, Saturday night with critical injuries he suffered when he lost control of the side-by-side all-terrain vehicle he was operating and crashed in front of the firehouse at Route 42 and Talmar Road, state police said. The ATV landed on its passenger side and Stackhouse, the only one on the vehicle, was ejected from it when the crash occurred just before 10 p.m., police said. He was loaded into an ambulance , taken to a nearby helicopter landing zone on Moreland Baptist Road, loaded into a helicopter and flown to the trauma center, police said. There was no report on his medical condition. Besides state police, firefighters from Unityville, Lairdsville and Muncy Area responded to the crash.
