OREM, Utah (AP) — Utah’s governor says the Charlie Kirk assassination suspect is believed to have acted alone and the investigation is ongoing despite his arrest. The man accused in the Kirk assassination had earlier expressed to family his opposition to the viewpoints of the conservative activist. That’s according to Utah Gov. Spencer Cox, who announced an arrest in a targeted killing that raised fresh alarms about political violence in the United States. The shooter was identified as 22-year-old Tyler Robinson. Cox on Friday also cited as key pieces of evidence engravings on bullets found in a rifle believed used in the attack. Calls to telephone numbers listed for Robinson in public records ring unanswered.
