Mark D. Ritter, 64, of Watsontown, remains hospitalized in the intensive care unit at UPMC Williamsport with serious injuries he suffered Thursday afternoon when his motorcycle struck the rear of a stopped Toyota Sienna driven by Walter Borek, of Muncy, at Vandine Loop Road in Muncy Creek Township, state police said Tuesday.

In another crash, Mandy Maurer, 48, of Muncy, was reported in fair condition in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, with injuries she suffered when she struck the rear of a Jeep Wrangler driven by Charles Snyder Jr., of Muncy, who was slowing down on Route 118 to turn onto Clarkstown Road in Wolf Township on Friday night, police said.

Neither cyclist was wearing a helmet, police said.
