Williamsport police are investigating two burglaries that occurred over a two-day period here at the Student Transportation of America (STA) property at 1400 W. Third St., Williamsport.

The first burglary took place Sunday while the second one occurred Monday morning, police said. An estimated $2,000 worth of assorted items, including tools and hardware were stolen, police said. In addition to pursuing leads, investigators are reviewing surveillance video taken during the crimes. When a reporter visited the scene on Tuesday afternoon, a staff member said there would be no comment from STA, which has the contract to bus students for the Williamsport Area School District.
