The boil water advisory for Montgomery has been lifted, according to the Montgomery Water Authority.

“We are notifying you today to let you know that the water main repairs have been completed, and the boil water notice has been lifted, the water is safe to drink,” said the Montgomery Water Authority in an email on Thursday.

The boil advisory was previously in place due to a water main break on Oct. 15 along a 10-inch line at Montgomery and Second Streets in the borough.
