A Union County woman was killed when an early morning fire broke out at her residence just after 8 a.m. Saturday morning, state police said in a press release.

The fire at 760 Black Run Road, Buffalo Township, a double wide trailer, was called in by a neighbor who observed the fire, the release said.

The sole occupant, Daisy Russell, 67, was found deceased within the residence.

The cause of the fire remains undetermined at this time, according to state police.
