The Lycoming County Coroner’s office have identified the victim in Friday’s fatal shooting as Brailynn Johnson, 15, of Center Street, Williamsport, the office said in a news release Tuesday.

“The Lycoming County Coroner’s office and Williamsport Bureau of Police are investigating the death of Brailynn Johnson who was reportedly shot at the intersection of Park Place and First Ave. He was transported to UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport Hospital where he was taken to the Operating Room and died on the OR table due to uncontrolled blood loss. The autopsy completed at Forensic Pathology Associates in Allentown today confirmed the cause of death being due to a single gunshot wound to the abdomen and manner of death is homicide,” the news release added.
