Voters cast ballots for four school boards in central Lycoming County Tuesday – two of which saw competitive races.

Jamie L. Sanders, Rick Douglass, Daniella Weaver, Nazirah Purnell and Lauren Montgomery were elected to the five seats on the Williamsport Area School Board up for election in 2025, getting between 4,533 votes and 3,873 votes each, according to unofficial results from Lycoming County Voter Services.

Larry Allison Jr., Benjamin A. Hepburn, Ben Marzo and David Steele won the four seats up for election in Loyalsock Township School District.

John Houseknecht Jr., Todd A. Badger and David J. Young won uncontested elections for three seats on the Montoursville Area School Board. No candidates ran for a fourth seat up for election.

Likewise, no candidates were on the ballot for two of the five seats on the South Williamsport Area School Board up for election in 2025. Benjamin M. Brigandi, Jason E. Lewis and Cathy Bachman ran uncontested for the other three seats.
