Voters in Williamsport elected three candidates to city council Tuesday, while voters throughout Lycoming County declined to renew Lycoming County Judge Nancy Butts’ tenure on the bench.

Incumbents Liz Miele and Eric Beiter were reelected to city council with 2,786 votes and 2,409 votes respectively. Jonah Milliken won the other seat on Williamsport City Council with 2,654 votes, according to unofficial results tabulated by Lycoming County Voter Services.

Butts’ service as judge was subject to a retention vote, with 19,115 voters casting “no” ballots compared to 9,680 “yes” votes.
