Firefighters battle second alarm house fire in Lock Haven

Firefighters are currently on the scene of a second alarm house at 623 E. Main St., Lock Haven. The call went out at about 4:16 p.m. With high winds, the blaze has posed a threat to nearby homes, causing the evacuation of residents while crews battle the blaze. According to reporters on scene, firefighters can be seen entering nearby homes and residents are waiting outside their homes. Those traveling in the area of East Main Street near the William T. Piper Memorial Airport are encouraged to avoid the 600 Block of East Main Street and take alternate routes at this time.
