Ja’hsir Kahseem Legare, who last month pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and illegally carrying a firearm will spend eight to 20 years in state prison for the March 2, 2024 shooting death of 15-year-old Ahmeen Palmer at T.G.I Friday in Loyalsock Township, Lycoming County Judge William Carlucci ruled Tuesday morning.
The plea agreement called for Legare to receive no less than 7 ½ years and no more than 15 years in prison.
