Charges filed after Muncy Creek Weis employee assaulted on the job

By Philip Holmes 1 min read

When the state trooper arrived at the Weis Market at 1272 E. Penn St. in Muncy Creek Township about 4 p.m. on Aug. 23 to investigate an assault, he clearly saw that the victim, a store employee, was "bleeding from her nose" and that there were scratches on her neck, it was stated in an affidavit.

Police allege Aissa Rose Tucker, an acquaintance, "physically attacked the employee" after she heard the employee "joking make" some comments about Tucker to a co-worker, who is Tucker's boyfriend, the court document stated. Following the alleged assault, Tucker left the store, police said.

Charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct, Tucker, has since waived her preliminary hearing before District Judge Kirsten Gardner and is free on $2,500 bail.
