UNION CO. (FOX56/WOLF) -- Sean "Diddy" Combs was transferred Friday from a New Jersey federal prison to FCI Allenwood Low, a low-security facility south of Williamsport, the Bureau of Prisons confirmed.

The agency did not give a reason for the transfer, saying it does not discuss the circumstances of individual inmates' confinement. Combs' spokesperson said the rapper remains focused on moving forward and hopes for a productive stay at the new facility.

The move follows reports about Combs' treatment at FCI Fort Dix, including an NBC News report alleging he had access to prohibited items and services from other inmates. The AP reported that Combs was placed in a special housing unit after that report and lost 41 days of good-conduct credit, moving his projected release date to March 2, 2028, according to a person familiar with the matter.

TMZ reported that Combs had been injured in a fight with another inmate. The Bureau of Prisons denied that report to the AP, saying the alleged incident "did not happen."
