The Williamsport Bureau of Police is urging the public to avoid the 2200 block of Newberry Street due to an active situation involving the Pennsylvania State Police and the Williamsport Police, the department said in a news release Monday morning.
They will provide updates to the public as more information becomes available. Please avoid the area until further notice to ensure your safety and the safety of our officers the news release added.
