Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Hurlbutt, of Jersey Shore, observed their 66th wedding anniversary Dec. 31, 2013.

They were married by the Rev. Jessie Carson in his parsonage, Jersey Shore.

Mrs. Hurlbutt, the former Rosella Koch, is a native of Williamsport. She attended South Avis schools and retired from Jersey Shore Hospital.

Mr. Hurlbutt is a native of Jersey Shore. He graduated from Jersey Shore High School and retired from Jersey Shore Steel Co.

They are the parents of two sons, Gordon and Wayne, both of Jersey Shore, and three daughters, Barbara Brion, of Lock Haven, and Althea Lehman and Christine Huther, both of Jersey Shore.

There are 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

In honor of their anniversary, a gathering is being planned.
