Cogan Station couple celebrates 60 years

Jack and Carole Moser of Cogan Station are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on July 18,. The couple was married July 18, 1964 at the First Baptist Church in Warrensville.

Carole is the daughter of the late Jesse and Caroline Coffey Shaffer. She was born in Lizardville Pennsylvania. Her family moved several times before settling in Warrensville. She graduated from Montoursville High School.

Jack is the son of late Charles and Josephine David Moser. He also graduated from Montoursville High School.

Carole worked at H&R Block as a tax preparer. Jack worked at Bethlehem Steel in Williamsport and Burns Harbor Indiania. After retirement they worked in Yellowstone National Park.

They are the parents of three children, Jodi (Steve) Webster, Montoursville, Randy (Janet) Moser, Cogan Station, and Jennifer (Michael) Sones, Montgomery. They have four granddaughters & 3.5 great grandchildren.

Carole is an avid quilter and has donated many quilts to charity. Jack enjoys hunting, puttering on projects in his garage and has been known to run the sewing machine. They love traveling throughout the United States, camping and riding their Goldwing trikes.
