Music Club plans late-October concert

Williamsport Music Club announces “A celebration of Music” at 7 p.m. Oct. 28 in the sanctuary of Pine Street United Methodist Church. According to a news release, the audience will participate in singing the song of the month to start out the program. “The NFMC Music in Poetry and Song book is used at each month’s program,” the news release said. “It is filled with folk songs and piems to be shared throughout the year by clubs throughout the U.S. The October song is ‘The Owl and the Pussycat’ by E. Museum to offer event with Muncy author

The Thomas T. Taber Museum of the Lycoming County Historical Society will host its Coffee Hour at 10 a.m., Oct. 9, with a talk, “Traveling Through Time,” by Linda Poulton of the Muncy Historical Society.
