Region sees successes at National Baton Twirling Competition

Several athletes from the region competed at the National Baton Twirling Competitions in South Bend, Indiana, this summer, according to a news release from Phillips Fancy Footwork. Avery Soltesz, 21, from Watsontown took 1st place in the Intermediate Solo 1 baton and the Strut competition in the 20 Plus age group. Avery is the Golden Girl Feature Twirler at Clarion University.
