Museum sponsors bus trip to Philly’s Barnes

The Taber Museum is sponsoring a bus trip to The Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia on May 3. The Barnes includes artworks of Renoir, Cezanne, Matisse, Picasso, Van Gogh, Modigliani and so much more. According to a news release, the fee includes round-trip transportation, admission to The Barnes and a box lunch. The public is invited. There is no Taber member discount. Friends’ group celebrates donations

During the February meeting of the Friends of the James V. Brown Library’s board of directors, the group celebrated the $57,000 given to the Library in 2024. The Friends of the James V. Brown Library was established in 1956 by Robert P. Henry, a trade union worker who wanted to raise funds to renovate the Library.
