Library, STEP partner for family fun nights

The James V. Brown Library, 19 E. Fourth St., will partner with STEP Head Start to host Family Fun Nights in 2025. During the event, families will explore the library, learn about library resources, listen to a captivating story, and participate in a fun activity for the whole family. State Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding reminded Pennsylvania dog owners to purchase a 2025 license from their county treasurer by Jan. 1, 2025. Library to offer bilingual storytime in 2025

The James V. Brown Library, 19 E. Fourth St., will offer a bilingual storytime for families starting in the new year. The program will begin at 10 a.m. Jan. 11 in the Blue Program Room on the first floor of the Welch Children’s Wing. Presented by Programming Professional Sheila Howarth, the storytime is for children from both English and Spanish-speaking families to listen to stories, sing songs, play, and make new friends while learning in both English and Spanish.
