Museum plans bus trip to NYC

The Thomas T. Taber Museum of the Lycoming County Historical Society is sponsoring a bus trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City, on June 14. According to a news release, the trip is to view “two spectacular exhibits, Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion and Collecting Inspiration: Edward C. Museum to host ‘Joy and Memories’ coordinator

The Thomas T. Taber Museum of the Lycoming County Historical Society will host Brian Fagnano, founder and coordinator of Lycoming Joy and Memories, at the museum’s Society Program at 2 p.m. on May 19 in the Community Room. The lecture, sponsored by Van Campen Motors, is free and open to the public. Brown Library to add teens’ Fortnite Club

The James V. Brown Library, 19 E. Fourth St., is beginning a Fortnite Club, which will meet monthly at the library to discuss characters, strategies, lingo, game items and Fortnite streamers. Fortnite is rated T for Teen. The game will be played using the library’s computers in the Teen area on the second floor of the Welch Children’s Wing.
