Library plans eclipse viewing at Memorial Park

The James V. Brown Library, 19 E. Fourth St., will host a solar eclipse program and picnic from 1-4:30 p.m. Monday, April 8 at Memorial Park. The Library will give away 500 pairs of eclipse glasses at that time – no glasses will be given away prior to the picnic. Foundation gives more than $21,000 to North Central Sight Services

North Central Sight Services Inc. recently received a grant of $21,280 from the Lycoming Economic Development Foundation Fund IMO Joseph L. The Williamsport Music Club will present “Music Inspires Women,” 7 p.m., March 26 at Faxon-Kenmar United Methodist Church at the corner of Clayton Avenue and Sheridan Street.
