Library continues Plot Twisters writing program

The James V. Brown Library, 19 E. Fourth St., will continue its Plot Twisters creative writing program in 2025. This program was created to celebrate National Novel Writing Month in November 2024. Now it is offered to adults who are interested in a laid-back atmosphere with other writers. Participants work on journaling, poetry, novels, and more during this program. They are also welcome to bring current projects or start new ones. Country music star Parker McCollum’s highly anticipated performance at the Bryce Jordan Center on Jan. 25 was unfortunately cut short due to illness. McCollum officially announced that the show has been rescheduled for Oct. 2, a press release said. Fans who purchased tickets for the original date will have their tickets honored on the new date. Over 50 residents brave cold for Wayne Township ice skating party

McELHATTAN — For those who enjoy spending time outdoors in the winter, this season has provided the right elements for ice skating. The cold and wind didn’t deter those who participated in the Winter Ice Skating Party held on Saturday, Jan. 25, at the ice skating rink in Wayne Township.
