Museum program explains traditional egg-decorating technique

The Thomas T. Taber Museum of the Lycoming County Historical Society will host a program at 2 p.m., June 20 featuring Catheal Weiser, an artist and good friend of the museum. According to a news release, Weiser will talk about the time-honoured craft of Pysanky, based on the traditional decorating of Easter eggs by use of a wax-resist method. Weiser will also have some of her pysanky eggs for sale. The program is part of a series of lectures which focus on demonstrations. The SpongeBob Musical, a Summer Stock production directed by Lycoming College Theatre professor Dr. C.
