Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble reveals plans

BLOOMSBURG — The acclaimed professional theatre group returns to the friendly confines of the Alvina Krause Theatre for its 2021-22 season. After a year of a “forced intermission” caused by the COVID-19 virus, the downtown Bloomsburg theatre stage will again light up for the recently announced productions to be mounted by the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble. Festival to share bluegrass music

The Smoked Country Jam Bluegrass Festival will open its gates June 16. According to a news release, organizers are ready to welcome music lovers, young and old to the 17th annual event, billed as the Pennsylvania Wild’s premier bluegrass festival at the Quiet Oaks Campground near Route 144 and the village of Cross Fork. Schedule set for playhouse

After COVID-19 forced the historic barn playhouse to go dark last summer, Millbrook is coming back this summer for its 58th season.
