Loyalsock Township graduate marries husband in October ceremony

Myrle Newcomer, daughter of Abbie and Larry Newcomer of Williamsport and Adam Karwaski, son of Meg and Gary Karwaski of Trucksville were united in marriage on October 11, 2025. Pastor Chris Schwab officiated the ceremony held at Herman and Luther’s in Montoursville.

Given in marriage by her parents, Myrle was accompanied by her Matron of Honor, Anna Cooper, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids included Beth Karwaski, Mackenzie Murray, Theresa Gawlas, Jill Robinson and Jill Dunn. Best men were Brian and Michael Karwaski, brothers of the groom. Groomsmen included Cody Cooper, Robert Gawlas, Benjamin Robinson and Matt Austin. The flower girl was Hadleigh Cooper and the ring bearers were Theodore and Harrison Karwaski.

Myrle is a 2011 graduate of Loyalsock Township High School. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science in 2015 from Bloomsburg University, and obtained her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Lock Haven University in 2019. She is employed as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant at Wellspan Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg.

Adam graduated from Holy Redeemer High School in 2009 and earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from Duquesne University in 2015. He is employed as a pharmacist at his family’s pharmacy, The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy, in Dallas, PA.

Following the wedding, they took a trip to St. Lucia. The couple hopes to be residing in Williamsport by this time next year.
