Jersey Shore man charged with second shoplifting offense

Michael W. Oglesby, 39, of 1220 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, has been charged by Lycoming Regional police with shoplifting, theft and receiving stolen property after stealing an estimated $343 worth of merchandise from the Weis Market on Allegheny St. in the borough on Jan. 27, it was alleged in an affidavit. This was his second shoplifting offense, police said. Following his arraignment before Biichle on the three misdemeanors, Oglesby, who has since waived his preliminary hearing, was jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.
