Elijah Davis Jr., 51, of 611 Campbell St., has been locked up on felony charges for his alleged involvement in two sales of cocaine from his apartment to informants; one on Jan. 16 and another on Jan. 27 it was alleged in a state police affidavit. In addition to being charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance and three counts of illegal use of a communication device, Davis faces one count of selling a non-controlled substance following an incident on Feb. 5 when he passed off a substance to an informant for $350, claiming it was cocaine when it fact it was some unknown “chunky powder,” investigators alleged. Following his arraignment before District Judge Aaron Biichle, Davis was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
