Second person charged with shoplifting at Wolf Township store

As part of a “rewards” program to make purchases at the store, George Harman, of 413 Louisa St., presented his driver’s license to a staff member at Herbal Haven at 1625 Route 405 in Wolf Township, according to state police. However, the 49-year-old customer has now been charged with misdemeanor shoplifting for stealing $749 worth of merchandise from the business between Jan. 22 and Jan. 31, state police alleged in an affidavit. He was identified as a result of having given his driver’s license, police said. Store video showed Harman “removing items from a display rack, concealing them in his clothing and leaving the store without returning,” police alleged in the court document. He has since waived his preliminary hearing and is free on $5,000 bail.

Lori Harman, 54, of the same address, was arrested in late February on a felony charge of shoplifting for stealing $2,588 worth of merchandise from the same business between Jan. 20 and Jan. 31, police alleged. This was her third shoplifting offense. She too has waived her preliminary hearing and is free on $15,000 bail.

Starting at $2.99/week.
